Update on the Red Baron guy, and it gets better.
The man who started that GoFundMe, Luke Oakenshield, is a military veteran who's been homeless and sleeping in his car. A friend had to loan him $20 a few days ago just so he could move it. He still tracked Walt down and made sure the money went straight to him. Why? In his words, "because I know struggle."
Walt's fund is past $650,000 now. And once folks learned Luke's story, they started one for him too. It's already past $30,000.
A tired working man stood up to a prankster. A homeless vet stood up for him. Regular Americans stood up for both. That's the country I know.

A prankster fakes an Apple Pay charge on a Red Baron delivery guy who's stocking freezers, already an hour late getting home to his four kids, and expects him to laugh. He didn't. Good for him.
Then regular Americans sent him more than $480,000, and Red Baron publicly said he's still on the team and has a fan club, "including us." The guy filming strangers for clicks? His account got shut down.
That's this country at its best. "Prank" content is mostly harassment with a ring light. Respect people doing an honest day's work, and leave them alone.
Ten million people have watched a comedian accidentally destroy the entire TED talk industry.
He filmed the talk once at TEDxNewYork in 2014 and openly admitted he had nothing to say.
Speaking coaches charge $5,000 to teach the exact tricks he used in 6 minutes to say nothing at all.
His name is Will Stephen. He is a comedian from Late Night with Seth Meyers who was invited to give a real TED talk and used it to prove the format is a costume anyone can wear.
Every TED speaker opens with a question, tells a personal story, cites a scientist, and shows a chart. Stephen did all four in six minutes with zero content.
His entire formula fits on a napkin.
Gesture with both hands. Ask the audience a question anyone can answer. Tell a mildly embarrassing story so they say aww. Point to a stranger on a slide and call them important. Flash a chart of random numbers. Wear glasses with no lenses. The audience will think you are brilliant.
That last trick alone has probably cost the public speaking coaching industry a hundred million dollars in sessions clients should have skipped.
"If you watched me on YouTube with the sound off, you would think I was a genius."
That is Will Stephen on the TED stage, three minutes into the talk he was paid to give. He wasn't lying.
Executives pay $15,000 for a keynote coach and still open with a joke the room never laughs at. Founders rehearse their pitch for weeks and still sound like Stephen at minute four, saying "wagga wah, gabba gabba" with authority.
The talk is free on YouTube. The method is written across every TED speaker's playbook for ten years.
Stephen still writes for Seth Meyers. Almost none of the ten million viewers have stopped nodding at empty slides since.
The formula is free. The willingness to actually say something before your next keynote, pitch, or townhall is the entire edge.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving when the drunk driver is Black and the victim is White.
AUSTIN MAN slams into a stopped minivan at 103 mph on Mother's Day, right in front of a cop, and kills a fire captain hours after his fifth son was born. DA Jose Garza's office asked him to pay a small fine.
Marvin Taylor was on his way to pick up his four other boys so they could meet their new baby brother. He was sitting at a red light on Koenig Lane when a Dodge Durango doing 103 in a 45 zone slammed into him and threw his van 150 feet. He died pinned inside.
The officer found the driver, Rodney Bremby, with bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and stench of alcohol.
He was charged with intoxication manslaughter, which carries up to 20 years in prison. A judge revoked his bond twice while the case was pending, and both times he was back out within two weeks.
On Monday he got 10 years of probation, community service, and $535 in fees.
Five boys have lost their father, and the man who killed him just had to pay a small fine and promise not do it again before going back home.

How is it that White liberals around the world cannot see they are being targeted for extinction?
Why are they so blind to a very clear and present danger 🤦♀️ 😫
America never needed one Somali. They hate us. They add nothing to this country. They scam at a high level.

Don’t kid yourself that you’re a generous or empathetic person just because you vote for other people to pay the bills.
This shit is crazy
Anne Frank’s published commercial diary contains an October 9, 1942 entry about Jews being gassed.
@grok, how many times does her original 1942 final draft mention Jews being gassed?
Start with the number.

Our education system barely focuses on the Founding Fathers because if people simply read what they wrote, it would be radicalizing.
Many of the top issues in modern America were already thought of, argued, and solved by men much greater than the middle-aged women with bob cuts we have today.

Men are twice as likely to ace SAT math, yet women are twice as likely to get in to MIT.
Put differently, 1 in 3 men who worked their ass off to get into MIT lost their seat because they were born the wrong gender.
17,000 men apply to MIT
8900 women apply to MIT
600 men were accepted
612 women were accepted
If we assume male and female applicants to MIT are roughly the same, the probability this happens by chance, let alone every year for a while
The probability of a sex blind admission process creating this result is 1 in 4 × 10³¹
