Nursery have been reading 'The Little Red Hen' this week...we have been busy making bread, playing farms and retelling the story. The children in Nursery have all been very helpful, unlike the Hen's friends in the story!
This week is Science Week, Reception are learning about light, shadows & wind!
The children had the opportunity to make a wind sock. They cut ribbon and used cello tape to stick the ribbon to a milk carton that had been cut in half.
It was very windy today, great to try them out!
Year 3 have been testing different surfaces for friction by rolling a toy car down the ramp with different surfaces on it. We tried carpet, fake grass, foil, wood and tissue paper...
