Just saw a tweet that said "Stay at 127.0.0.1. Wear a 255.0.0.0" and I'm like... that's a class A subnet. That's a mask big enough for you and 16,777,213 other people. That's never gonna work.

To quickly remove all empty lines, you can run:
g/^$/d
or alternatively the shorter
v/./d
(which also works in vi/vim)

g is the global command. It targets the entire buffer.
^$ is the global command pattern for matching empty lines.
d is the delete command

Just pondering that the original Unix worked on a PDP-11 that held as much RAM as the L2 cache of modern CPUs. And ran from storage comparable in size to the L3 cache of modern CPUs.

Why is blockchain voting a dumb idea? Glad you asked.
For starters:
- It doesn't solve any problems civil elections actually have.
- It's basically incompatible with "software independence", considered an essential property
- It can make ballot secrecy difficult or impossible.
