It comes after a CBC News investigation found StubHub's CEO Eric Baker is involved in large sale scalping of tickets on the StubHub platform.

Spain may have won the World Cup, but the biggest loser of the event is surely @StubHub. The largest name in ticket resale had issues before the tournament, but it's now beset by problems of its own making. From government investigations in Texas and British Columbia over fake ticket sales to class-actions in New York and Vancouver, the company is in a world of trouble.
Much of it is due to reporting by CBC News investigative reporter @cbcdaveseglins, who over the past few months has unearthed a series of troubling business practices and arrangements at the company. He joins the Do Not Pass Go podcast this week to take us behind the scenes of his investigations into the mess that is the modern ticket business, and to explain why it's time we pay some serious attention to it.

Wow 3,000+ primary tickets just released by FIFA (not resale), all for the R32 Canada vs South Africa match in Los Angeles. No other match has had a real big release like this. Will be interesting to see if this is a one-off or becomes common through the knockout stages.
