It's the effort that counts
As @manjaselva was talking on @cbcfreshair this morning, it reminded me one Halloween yrs ago I dressed up as Premier David Peterson: silvered hair, blue blazer, beige cords, crisp white shirt & red tie. Went to a party. No one knew who I was suppose to be. 🙂
Here are @antonialmreed's book recommendations

Here’s our question for you today: what’s the best halloween costume you’ve ever seen?
Perhaps it was your costume, someone in the family or a stranger?
And yes, kids dressed as pumpkins make the Fresh Air best-dressed list.

"...my husband went into action, attempting to change in the crowded booth. He eventually shot out the door into the revelry. I on the other hand did not fit through the door, and had to divorce the phone from its booth."
What creativity, thanks for the story, Jane
