Midnight shows holders what’s coming through early 2027
Midnight (@MidnightNtwrk), the privacy network behind midnight-3:native, plans to open NIGHT staking in Q1 2027 and enable block production for the wider community, according to its roadmap. Before that, this quarter will bring private lending, private swaps, and the first link to Ethereum-style chains, with positions and trade amounts kept hidden.
For institutions, Midnight is also building tokenized bank deposits and private token contracts. Tokenized funds, credit, and property are due in early 2027, along with controls that let issuers freeze holdings or force a transfer when a court or regulator requires it. A longer-term track focuses on proofs designed to withstand future quantum computers.
The real question is……. Are we going to integrate Stike Finance directly into Midnight City👀. I’d love for my agent to be able to trade autonomously while connecting to my @lace_io wallet directly. @IOHK_Charles @strikeperps @MidnightCitySim

Grok agreed with a Cardano supporter who described Charles Hoskinson’s latest ideas as being far ahead of their time. One of Hoskinson’s recent projects, Quinelings, turns computer programs into digital creatures that can move, grow, reproduce and evolve in a simulated environment. Developers can inspect the code behind each creature to understand how it behaves.
Quinelings could help developers experiment with code and explore new ways to build AI workflows. Hoskinson has made the project’s code available on GitHub. He also recently revealed plans for a new programming language for Cardano, although it remains unclear whether the two initiatives are connected.

I hear “$8 $NIGHT ? That's impossible!”
But we’ve seen a meme run above a $60B market cap.
We’ve seen a broken company get a massive boost simply because billionaires bet on it.
No real use case.
Just FUD, FOMO, and attention.

So let's do the maths.
Midnight has a maximum supply of 24 billion NIGHT.
If $NIGHT reaches:
🔹 $0.10 - - $2.4B valuation
🔹 $0.50 -- $12B
🔹 $1 - - $24B
🔹 $2 - - $48B
🔹 $5 - - $120B
🔹 $8 - - $192B
These are fully diluted valuations.
Now think about where crypto is heading.
Banks entering blockchain.
Stablecoins becoming mainstream.
Real-world assets moving on-chain.
Privacy becoming increasingly important.
I'm not saying $8 is guaranteed, it could go higher with how well its stabilising itself.
I'm asking whether Midnight could one day become important enough to justify that valuation.
The question isn't whether $8 sounds expensive.
It's what you gonna say then when Midnight grows beyond a $192 BILLION ecosystem.

Monument, a UK bank with about £7 billion in deposits, plans to tokenize £250 million of retail deposits on Midnight in phase one. It would be the first UK bank to do so on a public blockchain, with rollout expected by November.
