Woohooo! We’re on a pod! Great to welcome Danny from @WithMeNowPod to experience THAT hill of ours (and a cuppa afterwards) and we enjoyed chatting to him about our event. Listen here: withmenow.libsyn.com

Just a bunch of legends running and walking their best Saturday morning! #loveparkrun

Really fun to welcome Danny, Tiny Steve and Tiny Bertie from @WithMeNowPod . Enjoyed chatting about our event and all-things #parkrun! Have a good trip home, folks and look forward to seeing you again!

Today was the re-launch of #parkwalk and it was great to welcome parkwalkers and parkwalk #volunteers to our event. If you fancy a 5km stroll in a beautiful setting, why not join us soon? We’re here 9am every Saturday. Please share! More info here: bit.ly/3tRJzxr

Our course was looking good this afternoon despite the chilly conditions so we’re still on course for our event tomorrow morning. A course check will take place before the event to make sure that nothing’s changed and that all’s still safe so keep an eye on our posts.

Well done to the 75 runners and walkers for braving the wind and rain to join us for our festive #parkrun event in #Machen! 🌲

A big festive shout-out to our brilliant #volunteers in #Machen and #parkrun volunteers all over the world who turn out week-after-week to help make the parkrun magic happen!

It’s almost time for our festive #parkrun and the parkrun elves will be waiting to welcome you to our course with goodies on-hand and lots of festive cheer(ing) to get you around our course. Join us on Saturday morning at 9am! 🎄

After a three week break, we headed back up to the woods of Coed Cefn-pwll-du to do what we love most! Thanks to everyone who came to our event this morning. Well done to all our runners and walkers & thanks to our brilliant volunteers! See you next week! #loveparkrun

Donations by today’s #parkrun participants at our pop-up cafe in #Machen raised over £100 to help support @Pontyparkrun in replacing equipment lost in recent flooding! Thanks so much to everyone for their support! #loveparkrun

It‘s been three long weeks away and we’ve missed you all but the weather’s looking good for Saturday and so..

🚨Because of the storm forecast overnight and into tomorrow, we’ve made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s event. We know this will be disappointing, especially with recent cancellations, but as ever, keeping volunteers and runners safe always comes first.
