Perioperative EVP for MIBC approved in Europe by the EMA irrespective of platinum eligibility. This is based on B15/KN905 with ⬆️ ⬆️ pCR, EFS & OS vs previous standard of care. More patients will get systemic therapy (cisplatin obstacles won’t exist) and these patients will have better outcomes. Will VOLGA tell us more about the optimal number of cycles #ESMO26 ? Which patients don’t need surgery (EV209, EV309, TROFUSE55). Will ctDNA help us?

Telix has announced a collaboration with Ekalia, a joint venture between IBA and Framatome, to advance scalable U.S. production of astatine-211 (²¹¹At), a promising radioisotope for targeted alpha therapy.
The collaboration will establish a dedicated U.S. source of ²¹¹At, with the first specialized alpha-beam cyclotron to be installed at our RLS Radiopharmacies site near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This will support Telix’s investigational alpha therapy pipeline, provide isotope access for third-party academic and industry programs, and further strengthen our vertically integrated radiopharmaceutical supply chain.

Proud moment at #EANM26 @EANM_NucMed in Vienna watching Dr Cameron Pain, our Total Body PET Lead Medical Physicist, present the fast-acquisition results from our EQUIP study (NCT07263815) on the @GEHealthCare Omni 128 total-body PET/CT at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre - the world’s first installation of this system.
Can a 1 minute Total Body PET (LAFOV: large axial field-of-view) maintain or improve diagnostic quality compared with conventional short axial FOV (SAFOV) PET/CT?
25 patients were imaged on both systems. Overall diagnostic quality rated “excellent” in 0% of SAFOV scans, 57% of LAFOV 1-min scans and 100% of LAFOV 5-min scans.
Mean diagnostic quality 3.9 (SAFOV) vs 4.5 (1-min) vs 5.0 (5-min); sharpness and lesion conspicuity 3.7 vs 4.3 vs 5.0 100% of 1-min LAFOV scans rated excellent, good or acceptable.

➡️ Although combination therapy achieved a 73% PSA response rate at 12 months, superiority over monotherapy was not established.
➡️ Grade ≥3 adverse events were more frequent with combination treatment, including two fatal myeloid neoplasms.
✅ Tumor analyses revealed androgen receptor inhibition altered gene expression without impairing functional homologous recombination, highlighting challenges in identifying patients most likely to benefit.

Should inherited genetic testing be offered to everyone diagnosed with cancer?
A new @CD_AACR study tested 39,184 patients across 32 solid tumor types. Overall, 16.3% carried a pathogenic germline variant.
Using age 50 alone as the cutoff would have missed 72% of carriers. Even among late-onset cancers, 12.3% had a pathogenic variant, including 5.1% in high- or moderate-penetrance genes.
The question may no longer be whether we will find these variants, but how to make testing actionable, accessible, and affordable.

The phase II LUNAR 🌜trial investigated whether adding PSMA-targeted radioligand therapy (¹⁷⁷Lu-PNT2002) before stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) improves outcomes in oligorecurrent hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. Among 92 randomized patients, combination therapy significantly prolonged median progression-free survival from 7.4 to 17.6 months.

Histologic diversity in #BladderCancer is stage-dependent: rare in pTa (<2%) and pT1 (<5%), but common in MIBC/mUC (~35% variants/divergent). Squamous differentiation dominates (~90% of divergent cases), with basal-like biology and distinct therapeutic targets.
