Former Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull: “When you see Trump with Putin, as I have on a few occasions, he’s like the 12-year-old boy that goes to high school and meets the captain of the football team. ‘My hero!’ It’s really creepy…the creepiness was palpable”

Newspapers avoid challenging Trump, who has become a symbol of conservatism for many in the world. Instead of delivering the truth people need, they focus on normalizing his outrageous behaviour. This is the third time for me.
If only @realDonaldTrump had had a teacher like Tim Walz things might have turned out differently. Mind you Walz did school him yesterday at that rally in Pennsylvania.

People should watch this. O'Toole is entirely correct about this and it is important.
"Instead of leading—instead of debating our national purpose in this chamber—too many of us are often chasing algorithms down a sinkhole of diversion & division," warns former Conservative leader Erin O'Toole as he delivers his farewell address to the House of Commons.

The surprise @MountAllison connection between me and Olympic champion @mags_swims26 (it obviously has nothing to do with sports). We talk about other stuff tonight on The National.

A reaction clip from an interview I did about the new alcohol guidelines has gone viral, so I decided to put more of the interview out there. The full story takes a more serious tone: chch.com/new-data-suggests-h… @CHCHNews @CHCHTV – at St. Catharines, Ontario

I'll light the fire
You place the flowers in the vase
That you bought today
Staring at the fire
For hours and hours while I listen to you
Play your love songs all night long for me
Only for me
RIP

Alcohol contributed to 98% of my problems. Quitting #alcohol contributed to 100% of my solutions.

Hello @AirCanada Can you send a few people to help out the young man trying to give hotel vouchers for the TO to Saint John flight (number AC8498) that had to turn around. We will be hours being processed at this rate. They need four more employees to make this happen.
Spreading the word. And thank you @stfxuniversity. This is an important step, in the many steps needed to address the healthcare worker crisis. #Itsthedemographics

Education is not memorising that Hitler killed millions of innocent people. Education is understanding how millions of people were convinced that it was required. Education is learning how to spot the signs of history repeating itself.

Going back to where it all started. My first gig as a cartoonist was at @MountAllison. Great events planned this weekend to celebrate the 150th anniversary of @The_Argosy. mta.ca/alumni-donors/alumni/… All welcome. @MtAalumni
