Good news! SB 653 passed unanimously in the Senate!
The bill now goes to the Assembly. It will be parked there until June, when it will get a hearing in Assembly Business and Professions Committee.

The Senate Appropriations Committee passed SB 653 with a vote of 7 - 0! The bill will be amended and sent to the Senate Floor for a vote of the entire Senate next week.
