I refuse to allow anyone to leverage my past against my present endeavors.
I built Archaix community very slowly, with 300 videos before I ever had 1000 subscribers.
All the YouTube advice and 'laws' for success I TOTALLY ignored. I did not hashtag videos, didn't do any SEO, no End Screens, no ads breaking up my videos.
YouTube experts said long intros kills channels- mine THRIVED.
YouTube experts said only short, to-the-point vids succeed but I did 3-4 hour long LIVE videos and excelled.
YouTube advice was to do collaborations and don't invite controversy with other content creators- I went to WAR.
I broke all the rules except the one that meant the most... just do you.
Come a long way since this pic, when I was the only guy in an all girl Baptist choir.
