Clayface es una grata sorpresa de DC Studios. Tenía cero expectativas porque no conocía al personaje y, siendo otro villano del universo DC, tampoco esperaba demasiado. Pero aquí se nota la mano de Mike Flanagan en el guion y de James Watkins en la dirección, quien domina el género del terror. Hay un cuidado y una intención muy claros por construir una película coherente, siniestra y bastante gory, que gira alrededor de la obsesión por la fama, el reconocimiento y la industria de la belleza. Tom Rhys Harries devora desde el primer momento y Naomi Ackie vuelve a demostrar que es una actriz que brilla en absolutamente todo lo que hace. Me gustó mucho el build-up hacia el final y ese tercer acto es brutal , una experiencia muy divertida de ver. Definitivamente, el éxito de The Substance abrió la puerta a más historias de body horror que exploran nuestros monstruos internos.
