docbert v0.9 📚
Local document search — point it at your files, search from the terminal, web app, or MCP-connected agent. Nothing leaves your machine.
🔄 Multiple docbert binaries can share one data dir (run mcp + web together)
🧬 Chunks are content-addressed, so embeddings dedupe across documents and embeddings.db is portable between machines
🛠 Storage swapped from redb to LMDB
⚙ Nix flake stops trashing the build cache on local dev work

In tonight's Brazil presidential elections, something that looks like a coup just happened
The ruling left wing candidate Lula kept the polling booths open 2 extra hours to get more votes in places where he was predicted to win (7pm)
While closing the polling booths in places where his opponent Bolsonaro was predicted to win at the right time (5pm)
Of course this will likely give Lula the edge he needed to win in a tight 50-50 race which everyone predicted he was going to lose from Bolsonaro
Complete banana republic stuff, can't make this up! 🍌

Rapaz, Lula ta apanhando feio nesse debate. Que diferença tirar o Marçal da preparação fez. Até os trejeitos do Tarcisio o Flávio tá copiando.

President @LulaOficial is linked to a drug cartel the U.S. has designated a "Foreign Terrorist Organization," and yet Brazil's election court has prevented his presidential rival, @FlavioBolsonaro from saying so. Censorship of the Lula-PCC link began under Alexandre de Moraes.

You've gotta patch your dependencies super fast because they're full of vulns (PHP, Node, eMudhra, etc), but not _too_ fast because they're full of backdoors (LiteLLM). Good luck!
AI is crazy.
So, I found this decomp project for Brilliant Diamond, but it's only for Windows. Claude ported it to Linux, including reverse engineering the audio library to make it work.
Then, it created a flatpak for it, and installed on my SteamOS through SSH, including cover art and so on.
Now I have BD running in 1920x1080 (instead of 720p), 120fps (instead of 30) on my portable PC.
This is the future and in it no closed-source code is sacred.

Nossa vida seria bem mais simples se todos soubessem que o governo não tem um putto. Ele simplesmente arrecada o nosso dinheiro e transfere. Quando vc lê: “o governo vai perdoar dívida”, quem tá perdoando é vc!!! @FelipeTadewald
I get the feeling that this is going to stay running for quite a while still...
If only I had access to those juicy unreleased models that always seem to be doing all the fun work...

Ten years of Sad Affleck memes and it turns out he'd just been trying to install CUDA drivers the whole time.
