Two weeks ago, we asked whether @soneium was simply weak by traditional DeFi metrics or whether we were measuring it with the wrong ones. 💿 Today’s announcement gives us the beginning of an answer: 👉 xitter.cf/soneium/status/2114635… The headline will be $SONEIUM. But the more interesting part is Tokenized IP. Music, anime, games and other creative IP connected to onchain ownership, licensing and royalty flows with rules that humans and AI agents can query and execute. That matters because Soneium has never really looked like a DeFi-first chain. Its thesis is increasingly becoming clearer: entertainment, creators, fans and IP with blockchain acting as the economic and rights layer underneath. Back in our previous analysis, the missing piece was proof: real licensing, royalties, adoption and economic activity beyond campaigns and incentives. Today doesn’t prove that thesis yet. But it does make it much more concrete. Now the interesting part begins: seeing whether Tokenized IP turns into actual usage. 💿 Explore Soneium & its ecosystem: chaingreets.xyz/chain?c=sone…
👋 GSoneium Greeters 💿 After looking at chains winding down, one question keeps coming back: Low TVL + low fees can be warning signs. But are they enough to judge every chain? @soneium sits around ~$5M DeFi TVL with very little chain revenue, yet still sees 300k+ daily transactions. Weak DeFi chain? Maybe. But Sony + @StartaleGroup increasingly seem to be building around something else: IP. Entertainment. Gaming. Creators. So are we using the wrong metrics, or is the thesis simply still waiting for proof? 👇

"Building durable revenue." That may actually be the most interesting thing to watch on @SonicLabs now. FeeM gives builders a way to capture up to 90% of the network fees generated through their contracts without launching their own appchain. Good model. Now comes the harder part: generating enough real activity to make that revenue meaningful. Why FeeM is interesting: User pays gas in S → 10% goes to validators → 90% goes into FeeM for eligible activity → registered apps can claim the share attributed to their contracts So builders can capture network-level value without operating their own chain. That sits somewhere between "deploy on a shared L1/L2" and "launch an appchain".
What matters most for Sonic right now? Building durable revenue. Consistent, sustainable business that compounds over time. That’s the focus.

2. The current data also keeps the story grounded. Sonic is around: • ~$17M DeFi TVL • ~$147 in chain fees / 24h • ~$1.9k in app revenue / 24h • ~3M S distributed through FeeM cumulatively So FeeM is real. But at current activity levels, it’s still secondary revenue for most builders. And that’s why Sonic is worth watching from here. The interesting metric isn’t just TVL or transactions. It’s whether real onchain usage creates enough recurring fees to support: users → apps → builders → ecosystem If that flywheel starts working without heavy incentives, "durable revenue" becomes more than a strategy statement.

Hi @FRN9169 you asked for it ... @Enter_Elysium Testnet is now live on @chaingreets 👋 We’ve added the network, deployed the GM/GN contracts and hooked it into the dashboard. So you can now grind Elysium with: → daily GM / GN → 5-in-1 onchain actions → dedicated ecosystem page → activity tracking Thanks for the push 💚 chaingreets.xyz

1/2 Before @LitecoinVM opens its next chapter, there’s already quite a bit to explore on the current testnet. 👀 The @Superboard_ campaign is a good guided tour through the LitVM ecosystem, with quests covering a growing range of apps: → DEXs & DeFi: @LitDEXApp - @AddaxDEX - @Omni_Hub - @0xnothing_net - @auralaunchorg - @0xBuckyR → More ecosystem apps: @LitVMSwap - @litgames_litvm - @MidasHandxyz - @Omni_Hub - @OnChainGm - @Infinitynamecom - @sweep_haus and many others We went through the campaign this weekend and used the opportunity to add several of these dApps to the LitVM ecosystem page on ChainGreets. Still testnet, still exploratory but already plenty to test before V2 expands the playground. 🔗 chaingreets.xyz/chain?c=litv…
LitVM is entering its next chapter 🔥 V2 expands the vision, connecting Litecoin to a much bigger world. More chains. More assets. More possibilities. More details next week.

2/2 Exploring LitVM shouldn’t be only about checking boxes. 👀 We just tested 0xPixel by @0xnothing_net , one of the apps featured in the current ecosystem quests. So here’s a small ChainGreets challenge: 🎨 Create your own pixel art on 0xPixel 👉 0xnothing.xyz/0xpixel 📸 Share it in the replies Let’s see what the LitVM community can build.

🔎 ChainGreets' Transparency page is live. Following Friday's DYOR exchange with @gabup077, we put everything in one place: → GM/GN contract addresses across supported chains → Fee per action → Fee collector → How collected fees are used → September campaign expenses ($61 USDC) chaingreets.xyz/transparency Still experimental. Still DYOR. Verified means the deployed source code is publicly verified on the chain explorer. It does not mean audited or risk-free. Read the DYOR post for more info 👇 Now easier to verify. 🕵️
🔎 DYOR is always a good reminder, especially when connecting a wallet and signing transactions, 💯 agree with @gabup077 One advantage of onchain apps is that DYOR doesn't have to stop at a disclaimer. With @chaingreets, you can actually look at what you're interacting with. ChainGreets GM/GN interactions use public smart contracts... if we don't forget to verify/publish them. Most supported chains currently use the same GM/GN contract pair: 🌞GM: 0xb691e7c374490905136b17cd34f1Ea4a3A140635 🌜GN: 0xAC392810e6F92ba8478eccf8a1AbAbfF76fFb6Db Where the source is verified, you can inspect it directly on the explorer. 🔎

👋 GM Greeters Yesterday we looked at @megaeth : - Huge technical capacity. - Millions of transactions. But still a very small onchain economy. Today, let's look at another high-performance EVM: @monad And the picture is very different. Monad already has roughly: → ~$1B DeFi TVL → ~$670M stablecoins → ~$25M+ daily DEX volume → ~$13M daily perp volume → ~5M transactions/day So... did Monad manage to turn performance into an actual economy? Not so fast. 🧵

Have a great weekend

4/5 And then there's monad:native Current structural demand mainly comes from: → gas → staking / network security There isn't a Hyperliquid-style mechanism where growing application revenue mechanically creates massive token purchases. Meanwhile, supply matters. A major team/investor unlock starts around 24 Nov 2026, with a very large tranche relative to today's circulating float. So the equation becomes: TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE + ~$1B TVL + REAL DEFI ACTIVITY vs. BOT-HEAVY TRANSACTIONS + PORTABLE MULTICHAIN APPS + WEAK CHAIN-LEVEL VALUE CAPTURE + TOKEN EMISSIONS / UNLOCKS Monad has clearly built more economic gravity than MegaETH. But it hasn't yet demonstrated that this gravity is difficult to move elsewhere.

5/5 And that's probably the real Monad test. The technology works. Capital arrived. Major DeFi protocols deployed. Developers are building. That's already much more than an empty high-TPS chain. But the next stage can't simply be: - more transactions - more incentives - more TVL What Monad still needs to prove is: → sticky liquidity without subsidies → recurring human users → native apps people specifically want → sustainable fees → stronger MON value capture → a reason users/builders can't easily get elsewhere Yesterday MegaETH showed us that performance alone doesn't create an economy. Monad shows the next step: Even when an economy appears, the question becomes whether it is sustainable and who actually captures its value. Transactions alone don't make a sustainable blockchain. That's the question we're exploring across ChainGreets. 👋 Explore chains, activity & onchain tools: chaingreets.xyz
