As someone who went full send into CoD and later competitive CS:GO I would argue that they are definitely comparable. There are transferrable skills between the two.

the "always a woman" idea really feels to me like it's downplaying the fact that transition is a very real thing. i would not be a woman if not for estrogen and effort and (hopefully) a little bit of surgery
