Unpopular take. You don’t need “a bag” of skills as a young player to be effective. Can you pass? Can you make open shots consistently? Can you effectively move without the ball? Master a few skills to a high level then build off that confidence to learn others.

Basketball is the best game in the world because you get what you earn! Being bigger, faster, and stronger doesn’t win games. Talent is less than half of the equation. The toughest team always wins. The most connected, the most disciplined, and the team with the most grit cuts down nets in March.

This remains one of the great sound bites “The bible is very clear that the greatest form of love is discipline... I'm thankful that God made me in a way that I'm not afraid of confrontation & I'm not afraid of holding people accountable."

Couldn’t have ended worse for the dogs. When it’s bad it’s bad.

Your Lady Urchins are fighters and were not going to bow to the 7A Lady Chargers. They came back in the second half with fire to continue their perfect season. With 21 points, including five 3s, Marley Clayton was the lead scorer. #LadyUrchinBasketball #BeEpic #GoldScanner
