If I had money to burn, I would definitely be looking at pedal bike components from @chaterlea and adding an antique(83 year old) 545cc AA Patrol bike to my vehicles.
The Chater-Lea 1926 500cc SV JAP Engine w Sturmey Archer Gearbox is beautiful but out of reality (still runs).
What was miraculous, was how unmiraculous producing quality and durable items was at this time. #cycling #betterthanever

Design for new Chater-Lea Factory in Letchworth Garden City. Chater-Lea outgrew it’s Banner St. factory in Old Street, London and moved out to the newly built Garden City just under 100 years ago on the late 1920’s. #cycling #betterthanever
