Mr President @officialABAT, it does not require the wisdom of Solomon or An Emeritus Proffesor in Economics to realize that the economy of Nigeria is unbalanced. What do not appear to be realized is the causes of this imbalance.

Nigeria has adopted a street-beggar economy. A street beggar sits beside the road waiting for fortune to smile on him. Whatever he gets from passers-by determines how he survives.

The economy of Nigeria should be reared on a foundation laid by indigenous capital and not on a foundation laid by foreign capital. Today, Nigeria remains heavily dependent on foreign loans and external investment . We need to invest more in local manufacturing.
