With reports of poppy sellers being targeted by pro-Palestinian protesters, it’s time to put political differences aside.
Our elderly volunteers should never face intimidation for selling poppies and honouring our war dead. Whatever our political views, we must stand together to ensure they can carry out their work safely.
Protect our poppy sellers. Honour our fallen. Defend our right to remember.

Walking in London yesterday I saw a boy about eight proudly wearing his poppy, I smiled and thought ,yes, there is hope.🇬🇧
One dodgy home win already today, lets see if Worcester City can manage another!
Worcester City v Real Bedford
H/T and #ncfc predictably woeful again. Turning a classic ‘routine home 2-0 win’ against an awful side in awful form into the ‘Blizzard on Everest up hill struggle!’.
Not one of those players starting would get in a top 6 Championship side on recent performance. Shocking.

Just walked through Liverpool Street station and the Gurkha British Army brass band were playing, soldiers and volunteers were selling poppies. It felt very British and very patriotic.
Sadly very few people appeared to be buying them, and looking around I would guess maybe 1-20 were wearing them and the vast majority who were, were over 40+
It’s a sad state of affairs that through years of left wing indoctrination in our schools and uncontrolled immigration of people who hate us , that one of our greatest traditions is dying out.
Please buy and wear a poppy with pride .
Found this BBC Norfolk piece on my nephew Toby, a brave brave lad. This typifies his spirit. So proud of him and miss him loads. 💛💚 🤍❤️

‘Whooooosh!’ - thats the sound of the point flying over Orkelewa’s head!
The fact he’s had to turn off replies tells you everything you need to know.
SMEs have been crippled, first Reckless Rachel and now Jilted John... I recall an exchange 6 months ago with a labour mate on here about my friend in Norwich trying to run a hairdressing business, having to let go 3 young staff. He didnt understand. Now hear it from THIS guy....
It’s been 8 years since we lost my amazing nephew Toby at the age of 21. He was an amazing guy and never once complained even though he knew his time was limited.
Below is one of my most treasured photos - when my brother and Tobes’ Dad Mark and I took him to The Murderers!
To take your mind off today’s shyte, reposting a lovely encounter me and my dive buddy had with a seal off Lundy island back in 2012! I was filming! Seals are like the puppies of the sea! Gorgeous lovely things (but need to be understood & respected!)
Replying to @InsideLucysHead
Plus its a nature reserve - we scuba dive with the seals there.
Video i took back in 2012 -

The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls.
We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online.
