It's Not Just About Speed, It's About the Flow Catalysts help speed up chemical reactions, but what happens when electricity can't reach all their active sites? Parts of the catalyst may be left unable to do their job. Prof. Taek Dong Chung and his team developed a new technique to measure both how well a catalyst works and how easily electricity flows through it, all while it's running. The findings could help scientists design better catalysts for clean energy technologies.
