I got rid of the WiFi. Canceled the cable.
Started letting go of the noise and the things that were keeping me from myself. I was lost in the constant input, the endless scrolling, and the pressure to keep up. I’ve realized it was past time to subtract instead of add. Silence is where I start hearing myself and God again. I’m not empty, I’m finding my way back to me.
God is still on the throne. Forever and always. ♾️

You don’t realize how overworked and under-appreciated you are until you’re forced to change your work environment.
✅ New job: Actually being appreciated by the owner & manager. They’re thankful I’m there and see that I’m a hard worker. 100% recognized. The best part is they genuinely care about their employees. NO DRAMA.
🚫 Old job: I will never break my back again for a business that tosses their best employees aside like trash and talks to them like they’re trash. TOXIC. DRAMA.
💛 New job is going great! Thank you all for your continued prayers. The good Lord is working on me! I think about and love you all every single day!!! Believe me when I say that!
Yes, I went back to waitressing. It’s what I’m good at, it’s what fills my cup, and serving others brings me joy. 🥹 Good service is still appreciated by these patrons! AMEN!

Thankful to my Lord and Savior for providing me an opportunity at a new job that I wanted! I start Monday! My new boss called and said, “I know you’re meant to be here, and I’m so excited to have you.” Wish me luck! I love you guys and hope you’re all well. Stay blessed. ❤️
One of my habits is shutting down when I’m going through something. I don’t text anyone, I don’t call, I don’t explain anything. I just disappear until I’m okay again. Then I come back like nothing happened. I don’t pull other people into my mess. It’s personal. I’m focusing on my family and our peace. My focus is on those who live in my home and rebuilding what’s been lost.
Your mess is always welcome at God’s table. You can show up as you are. You don’t need to sugarcoat anything, or put on a happy face. He loves you for who you are, good days and bad. So bring your mess to Him.
To whom it may concern: The devil wouldn’t be attacking you so hard if there wasn’t something valuable inside of you.
My prayer tonight.
Dear God,
Thank You for getting me through this day. Whatever I didn’t finish, I’m leaving with You tonight. Please heal the personal struggles I’m facing, mend my heart, and grant me the strength to get through tomorrow. Quiet my mind and let me rest knowing You are in control and I don’t have to figure everything out before morning.
I am Yours.

This is your sign to keep going, even if it’s slow. Being able to get out of bed, standing on your own two feet, and making it through the day without giving up counts.
You’re allowed to be weary and still be worthy. You’re allowed to not have it all figured out and still be exactly where you’re supposed to be.

As screwed up as I am, I will always be thankful to my Savior for life. I’m trying to learn not to worry, because what does worrying do to change anything? Nothing. I want to let it all go. I want that so badly. Someday I will. Someday, I will. He’s helping me learn so much. I’m grateful with my whole heart for His never-ending strength and unconditional love. He’s carrying so much for me, how can I ever repay Him??!

I believe my assignment is coming. Maybe it’s already here. Maybe I’m already doing exactly what He intended.
God chooses the most broken people for the most powerful assignments. He didn’t choose me for others’ approval. He chose me to be impactful.

My kids’ dad’s house after the tornados earlier this week. The tree house was anchored with cement to the ground, and it was launched in the air. Very thankful he’s alright. My word! This was in southern Will County.
Thank You, Lord, for my children’s health and safety. That is the greatest gift, and it puts everything else in its place.
My heart grieves, and yes, it makes me angry, to watch social media twist even the Word of God into something political. People are sick, Lord.
I pray no one has to walk through what I’m walking through just to realize that.
