“We definitely need time for rest,” Taka shares. “The [members] have a family, so they have to take care of the kids and family. But after we finish resting, we’re going to work on the new album. So our life is always touring, making music, touring, making music, etc. There’s a lot of back and forth over the last 20 years, so we’re never going to change that style, even in the future.”

ONE OK ROCK · New single “Fever” (Acoustic)
Getting to hear OOR up close like this was overwhelming in the best way. The sheer power of Taka’s voice and that beautiful tone completely blew me away, and every member of the band was incredible. They really are one of Japan’s national treasures.
Such a treat for the ears. Everyone here in LA was having the absolute best time, and it made me so happy to be there sharing that moment with them.
I feel so lucky I got to experience something this special. The sound of their voices and instruments from that close, and how it all made me feel… I’ll carry this memory with me for the rest of my life. 🖤
