On today’s show we’ve got a treat straight out of Satan’s Pillowcase - a visit with @chrishofley.
His thoughts on a wild week for the #Sens and what’s next in #RNation after a disastrous REDBLACKS season comes to a merciful end.
You got this Luca! Donate if you can, but please share!
We added some new toys, books and Lego’s today, who will be the 1st of the day to help Luca grow his toys collection for the 5th Annual Toy Drive for Cheo. Luca goes to Cheo for double-eye surgery on Tuesday so he will be home for 2 weeks recovering .

Matt needed an All-Star guest @TallCanAudio so I obliged him with some @REDBLACKS and @Senators wisdom. And zero Leafs talk, meaning you should check this one out.

…Does… does he mean us?
Hof will be my cohost on the Mon TCA to discuss a wild week for the Sens, the REDBLACKS season coming to a merciful/pitiful end and whatever else is newsy by then.
Can’t speak for Hof but I’ve got hot feelings. Maybe not hot takes. But def hot feelings
The brilliant variety of the chants tonight, while giving Lars Eller a standing ovation, is nothing short of beautiful. #Sens
The collective amount of time going off about or defending who Tkachuk did or didn't have dinner with is really quite special. Can't imagine caring less about something.
Love chirps from team accounts. But if you’re going to go this way the statement has to be at least a bit clever. This is just trying too hard to end up with cheap grasping at low-hanging fruit.

Fun few days around TCA as on today’s pod Rob & I were in studio together for the first time in a month or so looking at the Blue Jays outlook and some NHL notes.
And Tues AM our boy @chrishofley joins me to look at the REDBLACKS blowing out their front office.
Get in!
I loved working for the Redblacks for 8 years. We had tough years, absolutely. But nothing like this. I have no idea what the overall issue is. There is no easy fix. I’m no fan of one guy being HC/OC/GM, but beyond that…I don’t know.
Obviously this season is a write off. But the right person, a football person with a grasp of the bigger picture and no non-football distractions, is the best way to start figuring this out.
But it was built in a way that it could withstand the curveballs you get during the season. The season record didn’t matter if you had a group that was rugged enough to survive the drive to the playoffs. Once you got there, you can make crazy things happen in this league.
The fact that @PostmediaNews @ottawasuncom has almost completely stopped covering the team is troubling and also a huge underscoring of where the team is at. Pro sports teams need beat writers.
I’ve always had a blast as Matt’s favourite guest on @TallCanAudio. So it was about time someone made him answer some questions, this time on my podcast. Listen on your favourite podcast apps.

And make sure you join us on the Wednesday show as the occasionally tolerable @chrishofley will be in studio with a friend and big news of his own.
My nephew lost his beloved toy horse on our east coast trip just before he left. I was staying later and found it, so obviously I documented the journey home. Big thanks to the @AirCanada crew for humouring me on this adventure.

ICYMI: On the latest TCA one of our favourites @Schreids joined us with another of our favourites in Dominion City to chat about the Ottawa Charge moving out to CTC, a billionaire abusing the Stanley Cup, Alfie moving on to the Leafs, the WNBA exploding in Canada & lots more.
