Wow. Puck just hit 2M monthly downloads less than two months after hitting 1M.
I'll be honest, I was kinda expecting it to slow down.
It's such an honour to have someone like Brad on our cap table. We actually met via a GitHub issue!
For those of you who don't know Brad, he co-founded Techstars and wrote the legendary book "Venture Deals" - mandatory reading for every entrepreneur raising venture capital.
We got chatting after he opened a GitHub issue and I clocked the name. Turns out he's also an incredible human, happy to give advice and support however he can.
Kudos, @bfeld. You rock.
(P.S. we're raising a seed round at Puck! Hit me up if you'd like to join Brad on our cap table)
Puck turns your own React components into a drag-and-drop page builder. It's the breakthrough behind AuthorMagic's book-site builder, and I liked it enough to invest in the company.

I think what’s so exciting about Jev is that it puts the engineering back into software.
Having access to the underlying probabilities means you’re no longer hoping for the best, but designing real algorithms to solve real problems.
Total game changer. Thank you @CompleteSkeptic.
Astra's little touches really elevate it to designer-level.
$3 to generate Puck AI's benchmark page is about 100x what we'd see with Luna, but still.... I'm impressed.
Shame the calculator is bust, but I appreciate the attempt.
excited to be talking at @asyncjs in Brighton tonight!
gave my first ever puck talk at async 3 years ago. fair to say a lots changed.
come say hi 👋

Can't believe I'm writing this, but Puck just hit 1M monthly downloads.
Our growth over the last year has been INSANE.
I guess this is what becoming the AI default looks like.
I feel this even inside a single project. Love me some @conductor_build but man it makes it easy to rabbit hole hard
Puck now gracefully handles layout shift in nested components! 🙌
By default, Puck will render a line placeholder when reparenting an element, retaining slick fluid drag-and-drop when the elements share a parent.
You can also enforce "static" mode for all drags, or revert to the legacy "fluid" mode.
Anyone tried the gauntlet prompt with World of Warcraft yet?
1200 million tokens, $863.35 and a few prompts got me this piece of art
Game devs are done for real 😂
@mattshumer_ your gauntlet prompt is the real game dev killer
