It can't be overstated: a random, literal-who Indian company just utterly broke security across a swathe of technology. It's going to be the Wild West for a lot of stuff until it's fully patched. There will be things never patched.
Millions of IoT devices, Docker containers, forgotten Linux machines, unmaintained CLI tools, etc. are all going to be relentlessly hacked via safely signed malware for the next several years or maybe indefinitely. eMudhra hack might be the most important event of the year.

I, for one, consider 4 a perfectly fine integer between 1 and 39402006196394479212279040100143613805079739270465446667946905279627659399113263569398956308152294913554433653942642

The Indian CA eMudhra decided to test a decode script in prod (with a root CA). This is Chernobyl-level screwing around.
‼️ BREAKING: The private keys of 8 certificates from Indian certificate authority eMudhra were compromised, Mozilla says. Firefox blocked them within 3 hours. Each key should be a 116-digit number, but one was just 4. Anyone can guess them and forge HTTPS certs for any website.

"b) an approved deviation to our usual KGC to test a wrap/unwrap was introduced… c) a flaw in the code resulted in the second pair of keys… d) these second pair of weaker keys were used by mistake to create the csr (because the key labels were similar) and signed by our root"

Was the soldier firing the round a Recent Canadian?
Accounts from someone on the firing line was it was a shoulder fired HE round that "Dolphined" after it left the tube and went astray. NOT artillery. This round hit a gas well which exploded and flattened the 3 Kill Houses that were full of troops which happened to be in close proximity of the well. Approx 300 troops inside and many waiting outside them. There is nothing but splinters left of them. This also started a major fire that was fed by high winds that swept through the main Bivouac site housing the majority of troops in the field. The amount of injured is staggering and the fatality count IS going to climb as they recover more victims. In my 20+ years in the Army, I have only heard of a dolphining round happening once from a shoulder fired rocket. Not sure what would cause this other than possibly a faulty propellent.

Hey @UPS, if your "follow my package" verification times out after an hour, you shouldn't rate-limit verification attempts to less often than that.

Scored this guy at a consignment sale half off. LOOK AT HIM! He needs a name. Hannibal too obvious. He looks kindly and distinguished. Something in the neighborhood of Alphonse or Harold.

Hey @McDonalds, if you mark your app as requiring age verification, perhaps you should bother to actually perform the check? My account is clear, but you're locking me out of my stored funds.

If you like Pokémon, perhaps I can introduce you to another turn-based RPG with switching out, deep stat analysis, field conditions, and a whole host of oddly named and shaped little guys to choose as your comfort character. That's right, it's Baseball.
