Exciting news! I'm thrilled to announce that I’m taking a new position at Microsoft as a Principal Product Manager on the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Engineering Team. It's a great opportunity to help build a product that I've loved since it started

This is the @Waymo experience in Denver. No matter when you try it, you get this. Seems stupid to launch with so few cars

Our @9NEWSWeather winter weather outlook is out! Our overall outlook is for an above-average snow year for the mountains in particular, and a near-average snow year for the Denver area. *However* (mini thread)

This is the truth. We consistently see customers using the wrong AKS configuration day 1 and problems appear later as they scale. Check out the book for some excellent guidance.
☸️ Most AKS problems don’t start during an outage. They start on day one. Wrong networking choice. Identity that complicates every deployment. Autoscaling that costs more than expected. Observability that collects everything and explains nothing. I wrote The AKS Book to cover those decisions properly. Not how to click through the portal. What to choose, why it matters, and what it will cost you later. It also includes real deployment case studies and a foreword by Brendan Burns. This book has everything you need to help run AKS in production. Absolutely worth checking this out!
🚀 I'm excited to share that The AKS Book is now live on Kindle. It's a decision guide for running AKS in production. Not a tutorial. Not a feature walkthrough. 17 chapters covering the choices that are hard to change, expensive to get wrong, or will wake you up at 3 AM if you miss them. 😅 I'm genuinely honoured that Brendan Burns, co-creator of Kubernetes and Corporate Vice President and Technical Fellow at Microsoft Azure, wrote the foreword. Having his perspective open the book means a lot. 🙏 A huge thank you to my technical reviewers Matt Boyd, Wesley Haakman, and Luke Murray, who gave their time to make this significantly better. 👏 The paperback goes live on Monday. Full blog post dropping then too. 📖 Kindle is available now 👇 amazon.co.uk/dp/B0GNNVSG67 #AKS #Azure #Kubernetes #DevOps #CloudNative

Dave Giusti was my former father-in-law and was like a father to me for most of my life. He was a special person and will be greatly missed
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Pirates pitcher Dave Giusti. Dave spent seven of his 15 big league seasons with the Pirates and was an important member of the 1971 World Championship team as he led the NL in saves that year with 30. After his playing career, Dave made his home in Pittsburgh and remained an active member of the community and the Pirates alumni group. We extend our sincerest condolences to the Giusti family.
