For those curious about the code behind this, I just put out a YouTube video with all the box names along with a breakdown of how it works ⬇️

I wrote an ACE script to completely randomize FireRed and LeafGreen encounters for the Switch release! I'll be using this method to catch all 386 Pokémon to complete the National Dex on one save.

This will work on GBC as well! Not locked behind Super Game Boy (Guaranteed wild shiny Dodrio for testing)

Limited space for palettes in Gen 1 means getting creative with assigning shiny palettes for this patch. Fun example is the Alakazam shiny (left) that's using a palette from the slots minigame.

I did clear up some space that should allow for a lot more custom palettes but I am trying my best to re-use as many existing palettes as possible so long as they don't cross over into looking fan-made

I enjoy coding, I enjoy game design, I enjoy modeling, I enjoy putting it all together and see it come to life. I might be slow, and I might not be the best dev in existence, but I enjoy it. And I want to learn and improve. If I fall behind, so be it. This is not a race.

Beat my second crystal save! I had a lot of fun with this team. Ariados was surprisingly good, especially since I decided to grab Sludge Bomb early. I got murkrow and Girafarig using @cilerba’s safari Zone patch
A collage of the hall of fame from Pokemon crystal. The Pokemon are: Weaver the Ariados, Popcorn the Sunflora, Tawny the Piloswine, Hyde the Girafarig, Glimmer the Murkrow, and Cloud the Mantine

Another instance of people not understanding what OCD is and why it’s so debilitating. This isn’t a normal way of feeling guilt. You cannot live your life constantly ripping your hair out over if you’re a bad person or not, trust me it will break you apart.
