It's almost as if Manfred is actually just a big fat liar.
Texas is experiencing record breaking heat. @ohmconnect Energy customers showed up in a big way — adjusting thermostats, delaying the start of their appliances, and generally saving energy for an hour and then another one. Amazing work by @mattduesterberg and the team.
Here is the thing: your energy use data belongs to you. It does not belong to your utility.
It’s like a bank arguing that it controls the information on your spending and account balance. It’s crazy talk.

I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised how local, regional and national baseball media are almost unequivocal on putting the blame for this mess entirely on John Fisher, and that none of this process was fair to Oakland fans. If nothing else, I'm glad that message made it out.
