Trump swaggered into Georgia right before the midterms, breathlessly announcing a huge new Audi factory, a massive win for the state he claimed. Here's the receipt: Audi had absolutely no such announcement, no plans to build a plant in Georgia, and no knowledge of this supposed commitment. This wasn't just campaign exaggeration; it was a bald-faced fabrication, invented out of thin air just days before an election, banking on voters not checking if a major international corporation actually agreed to a multi-billion dollar investment during a political rally. Aside from the shocking substance of this story, what's amazing is how it was unearthed by Cole. The short version: The Russians were able to penetrate Jared Kushner's iPhone and extract screenshots and data. Then, a Russian intel official was captured by Dutch intelligence (!) and flipped. The Dutch believed Kushner may have been acting on behalf of Russia, so pursued him as an intel target and were able to get into his phone.
They did not find any evidence of Russian collusion, instead they watched him moving hundreds of millions of dollars from slush funds created by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, one of them housed in Israel's central bank.
Incredible reporting, and if Democrats have any sense, they will pull on these threads and learn a lot more about this money.

I'd like to do something a little bit different for hate week this time around. CJ Carr is a standout QB for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He also happened to attend Saline High School in southeastern Michigan, a school I graduated from a few years prior to him.
Growing up in Saline, I had the chance to participate in charity races organized by Carr's family under the "ChadTough Foundation", in benefit of CJ's younger brother Chad. Chad tragically passed away from DIPG, a rare form of pediatric brain cancer, when he was just 5 years old.
The ChadTough foundation has done phenomenal work as patient advocates, research donors, and much more in the DIPG world. I'd like to ask all my Cougar brothers and sisters to consider donating to support the work that the Carr family, and so many others do.
