OBU mourns the loss of President Emeritus Dr. Bob Agee, a beloved leader whose influence on Bison Hill extends far beyond his 16 years as president. Dr. Agee loved OBU, its students and its mission. His leadership helped shape the University in profound ways, but his legacy is perhaps best seen in the generations of students whose lives were changed through their time on Bison Hill. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Agee’s faithful service to OBU and to Christian higher education. We join the Agee family and the many alumni, colleagues and friends who knew and loved him in grieving his passing and celebrating a life devoted to Christ and to serving others. The scaffolding is out of Potter Auditorium. Inside Raley Chapel, crews are installing new steel supports for the historic stained-glass windows, which are being restored off-site and remain on track to return later this fall. Outside, foundations are poured for the memorial rotunda commemorating the April 19, 2023, tornado, and the cross monument's original granite veneer is being carefully reinstalled.
