More blocks are being built by builder-searchers than ever before, potentially violating Ethereum’s promise of credible neutrality. Integrated builder-searchers co-locate with and give priority to their own bots, disadvantaging competing searchers.

Gonna start calling this PoG (Proof of Governance) instead of PoA PoA is accurate for something like Noble, but that’s different PoG can be similar consensus voting mechanism (or different), but importantly you have governance process in place to choose those delegates

Missed this last wk but I agree particularly in the context of rollups Increasingly believe that most rollups should not have any form of staking Better served by governance electing delegates to run PoA/simple round robin style Can require some flat bond as desired

Lots of competing proposals out there for how to deal with MEV: OFAs and other competitive markets, encrypted mempools, MPC, TEEs, etc. But do we truly need any of these? Yes! And, with @bahrani_maryam and @PGarimidi, we have the math to prove it:👇 1/12

The repo linked by the Ronin hacker has a vulnerability in the elliptic library. It is a trick so they can steal money from the Euler exploiter. security.snyk.io/package/npm…
Looks like a Ronin exploiter is trying to hack the Euler exploiter… Dark Forest, literally 😅

Very educational thread from @MessariCrypto. We need to employ better benchmarks and use better metrics to measure chains. TPS is an outdated, misleading measure.
1/ Time to finality (TTF) is often overlooked. As crypto continues to evolve, high-value applications may end up prioritizing the fastest finality times, and hence the networks that prioritize fast finality. Let's analyze finality across crypto networks. 🧵

One step closer to SUAVE and the unbundling of the MEV Supply Chain. Privacy and enforcement of user preferences remain the harder problems here, researchers please reach out!
Introducing MEV-Share: programmably private orderflow that empowers users, redistributes MEV, and takes a step towards decentralized block building MEV-Share is where transactions and bundles find their perfect match collective.flashbots.net/t/m…

btw at defillama we've built a new tool for risk teams at defi protocols it shows you how much liquidity is there on-chain for any token, eg showing how much would need to be dumped to drive price down 10%, 20%... dm me for beta access here's the liquidity chart for UNI

That sounds a real breakthrough for building L3 (and more) at a cheaper cost. "The cost of proving a step of a program is proportional only to the size of the circuit representing the instruction invoked" The future is promising for ZK-Rollups! ia.cr/2022/1758
