Diluting the game last night, I truly thought we played ok. The midfield with two primary CM's immediately gave us a far better balanced approach in our shape and structure, most importantly defensively. I thought the left side that has been a massive problem this season looked much more solid with Chavarria who looks an excellent little player (Alonso player IQ and the fact Chavarria knows the position). Henderson showed exactly what we have missed over the past couple of games with his leadership, control and calmness in midfield. I thought it wasn't a coincidence that we looked less chaotic last night. There was enough to tell me last night that over the coming weeks, we will get better and the results will start to flow.
