Just putting this out there, for every saying "oh that's a league 2 challenge" and there's nothing wrong with that and we are "crying"... This is the type of damage scissor challenges will do

Well said. Disgraceful challenge that was rewarded by a compromised referee.

Anyone that has played football will know exactly what the defender is doing! It’s an unnecessarily over aggressive tackle. He’s locked into the sideline, and he’s tried to ‘put him in the stands’. Dowman is very lucky not to do his knee/ankle ligaments or even break his leg/ankle. I think the INTENT in that tackle does more damage to football and fellow footballers careers than the slightly emotional 16 year old reaction, where actually, the kid is ‘looking after himself’. A chance for all to learn, Including the ref.
RED CARD for Max Dowman! 🟥

Reviewing the Max Dowman Red card this morning on @SkySportsNews No chance a red card and “Violent Conduct”. Watch the incident up close you can see how minimal the movement of his foot is. A reaction yes, but no chance a violent one.

Hope O’Neill gets some minutes. he’s looked good so far this season.
Arsenal youngsters Ceadach O’Neill, Maalik Hashi, Andre Harriman-Annous and Marcel Washington set to be in the squad vs Fleetwood Town tonight. First-teamers Marli Salmon and Max Dowman included and likely to start #afc

Liverpool have conceded just seven goals with 11 players on the field in their last three Champions League matches which was the same amount as Arsenal conceded in all 15 CL games last season.

Bruno Guimaraes will be 29 in few months and Newcastle want £100m for him. Meanwhile, Man Utd just signed 29-year-old Tielemans for £35m. Fair play, INEOS. They have pulled off a blinder in this inflated market.

Imagine crying about a fictional "cartel" asset-stripping Bournemouth when your own club is the only one that actually spent £105M to gut their squad (Aké & Semenyo). But let's talk about the real delusion here: focusing on the rules is a classic deflection to distract from industrial financial fraud. Complaining about spending rules is not a defense for cheating. Bournemouth has achieved its historic success by working hard, scouting brilliantly, and completely following the rules. They didn’t need an underground £830M disguised funding scheme or "sham" state contracts to build a squad capable of smashing elite European clubs. The real tragedy? If certain clubs hadn't fraudulently pumped artificial state money into the system, creating a toxic hyper-inflation of player wages and transfer fees organically run teams like Bournemouth would be even further along. Sovereign state doping didn't "save" football, it broke the economic ladder for the clubs that actually play by the book. Stop using whataboutism to shield your dirty conviction on 114 counts of corporate deception.
Bournemouth have smashed Man Utd at Old Trafford and AC Milan in europe in a single week. 10 champions league titles between them. Incredible for them. Hopefully current Premier League rules mean their squad doesn’t get asset stripped by red cartel clubs in the summer.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Since 2010 Manchester City FC have spent more on Bournemouth players (Ake and Semenyo) than any of Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United. transfermarkt.com/afc-bournemout…

True, Heaven for me is already better on the ball than Gabriel. He is just a bit raw and sometimes overhits his line breakers but his carrying ability is already better than Gabriel. For Yoro, I feel he needs to improve a lot to be at Saliba's level, might also need a loan.
