Getting my PhD before 30 taught me that you need one thing to win and random advicebros never talk about it. They talk about self-discipline and networking but none of that shit is news, it’s table stakes. You have to be more creative than everyone else. Like top .01% creative. You only develop that through hobbies. For me it’s always been photography and modular synthesis. When it came time to navigate engineering leadership in my career I just applied my creativity and it helped me outpace a bunch of other people.

Stop sharing your info and resume with ā€œrecruitersā€ without verifying who they are. Foreign nations and fraudsters are using ppl’s info to get jobs.

IT support taught me IAM, MDM & SaaS admin. That foundation got me into cloud engineering. Don't skip the help desk. It's literally the blueprint.

Here's a list of TIME "journalists" that have received money from Anthropic and OpenAI to manipulate you through their reporting: @Tharin_P @harryboothtime @nikostro @GjesdalHammer I will be naming names from NBC, The Information, MIT Tech Review and more outlets in the coming days.

Accenture has filed 22,896 LCAs over the past 5 years. Culturally they are a foreign company that happens to operate within US borders. Anthropic will now WILLFULLY give them copies of their models for evaluation. This is a massive cyberterrorism fiasco waiting to happen. Export regulations should apply here. Why is our government allowing for the flagrant proliferation of the most powerful tech of our time among non American actors? I’m early on this. See how this plays out a year from now. Geopolitically it seems certain that an adversarial nation like China will offer something for a copy of that model.

We’re partnering with Accenture on independent evaluation of frontier AI—part of our recent commitment to embed evaluators at Anthropic. Both we and Accenture expect to invest at least $1 billion to build capacity in this area over the next five years. anthropic.com/news/accenture…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Anthropic presents this as an "independent evaluation" but will directly fund Accenture's work and has a prior commercial partnership deploying its models, including training ~30,000 Accenture professionals on Claude. anthropic.com/news/accenture… anthropic.com/news/anthropic…

I’m gonna be honest, a lot of you are not where you want to be in your career, and it’s bleeding into other areas of your life because you’re bullshitting. Don’t worry. I used to be a bullshitter too. I knew I was/am a force to be reckoned with. Other people knew it too. They could feel it before I even told them what I did. But I was scared to fully acknowledge it because I knew what came with it. Responsibility. Action. Visibility. Triggering people who don’t know what to do with their own feelings about your ambition, confidence, talent, or presence. So I downplayed myself. And unsurprisingly, that led to a downplayed salary, downplayed recognition, downplayed opportunities, downplayed lifestyle, downplayed relationships. Mediocre as hell. And that was simply not my station in life. I’m meant for billions. I’m meant for opulence. I’m meant for once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, beautiful experiences, aligned work, and a life that actually reflects the level I know I can operate at. So I stopped negotiating against myself. I stopped hedging bets. And I haven’t looked back. Now aligned opportunities come to me easily. Industry pioneers meet me with admiration and curiosity. I help shape technology strategy inside companies people rely on every day. I travel well. I work on things that matter. My family benefits greatly from the life I’ve built. That started when I got tired of bullshitting myself about what I wanted and what I was capable of. If you know you’ve been playing smaller than your actual capacity, I can help you get much more strategic about your career and positioning so you can move toward your actual station in life and become the kind of person your industry cannot ignore. calendly.com/thedatabloq/car…

Meta’s AI experiment is a good reminder that technology was never going to be the end-all-be-all people were promised. You can create AI super users but they cannot compensate for weak adoption, security problems, collapsing morale, or an organization that still isn’t creating more value.

Hmmm…the companies carrying this receivables concentration aren’t the downstream enterprises that ultimately have to turn all of this compute into ROI. There are still several layers between ā€œNVIDIA sold the chipsā€ and ā€œenterprises created enough economic value to justify the buildout.ā€ šŸ™ƒ

Five customers accounted for 70% of NVIDIA's accounts receivables at the end of Q2 FY27, and for some customers it's allowing payment terms anywhere from 3 months to a year. Up from 56% a year ago.

MAJOR BREAKING: Newly released FBI records show that a March 25, 2025 DOJ spreadsheet tracking flagged Jeffrey Epstein documents included 16 separate entries flagged for one reason: ā€œPOTUS.ā€ Those records reportedly included magazine and newspaper articles, message pads, phone-message books and one unidentified document. The obvious question: Why were 16 Epstein-related records specifically flagged ā€œPOTUS,ā€ and what exactly is in them?

A couple of weeks ago I was in the room with EU Parliament members, advising them on AI governance and digital sovereignty. I typically charge 5–6 figures for this work. I’m opening 30 minutes for you. I advise Fortune 500 executives on AI strategy. I also advise the senior ICs at the companies building the infrastructure those executives depend on. I know what the market pays. I know what makes leaders say yes. I know how to build a career that makes you recession-proof, recruiter-magnet, and fully compensated for the life you actually want. If you’re serious about your next move, you know where to find me: calendly.com/thedatabloq/car…

In an unprecedented act of dissent, active-duty USAF Major Jason Watson was arrested on the Capitol steps after calling for the impeachment & removal of Donald Trump. Risking his career to uphold his constitutional oath, his arrest marks a historic moment. āœŠšŸ»āœŠšŸæāœŠšŸ¼āœŠšŸ¾āœŠšŸ½ #DemsUnited
