Excited to announce that I’ve joined Fromm Consulting as an A&R / Music Scout. 🎶 Fromm Consulting is a creator-first music rights firm founded by 70× platinum songwriter Andrew Fromm, with 27 years of industry experience, nearly 200 completed deals, and $1.25B+ in music rights transactions. The firm’s work spans catalogs connected to major artists including Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Owl City, and Juice WRLD, among others. My background at The Spotify Supply has been the foundation of my expertise in music discovery, artist development, and understanding what makes music connect in today’s industry. I’m bringing that experience into a new chapter focused on identifying exceptional artists, songwriters, producers, and catalogs. Now it’s time to put the ear to work in a different way. 🎧 Grateful for the opportunity. Let’s work! #FrommConsulting #MusicScout #MusicBusiness #MusicIndustry

respectfully, you went live in 4K crying real tears over a mumble rapper writing most of your “hits,” but trying to clown a woman who could literally be your mother over politics. the funniest part is she’s the greatest woman to ever do what you need lil yachty to do for you. do you realize how goofy that looks? 😭😭 trying to lil bro the GOAT while getting carried by a SoundCloud rapper is INSANE. please go check your writing credits before you check somebody’s political affiliations. PLEASE. 💀 @karrahbooo
i said what i said :P

Eminem is NOT a conscious rapper and if he ever was, it was either in 1996 or 2017.

rap names are a bigger part of hip-hop than people realize. your name is supposed to create a mythology around you. A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti sound like superstars before you hear the music. Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole sound like they’re about to give you homework. Earl Sweatshirt and Mach-Hommy sound like they record albums in a dark room and haven’t seen sunlight in 3 weeks. your rap name will always reveal what kind of rapper you are. this is hip-hop branding 101. the coolest names in rap come from a lineage rooted in confidence & individuality. your name should embody the mythology you’re building. sometimes u can tell if a rapper is 🔥 based on the name before you even press play.

Naming your influences is not the same as earning the comparison, and the gap turns up in the record either way. The people who actually absorbed that stuff tend not to bring it up.

I truly hate when hipster rappers try to prop up their wack albums by comparing them to some of the most respected gangsta rap classics ever made. “oh, if i say the purple tape shaped my album, maybe people will think i’m the next best thing.” because everybody wants to listen to something authentic, even when they know it’s not. they just want that "classic" feeling. but nah, we listened to DAYTONA. we know that shit sounds NOTHING like the purple tape. if it did, we’d still be listening to it. how stupid do you think we are, @pusha_t? you can fool casuals with that cosign shit, but real hip hop heads hear the difference.
To my music collectors out there: DAYTONA physical copy pre-order prices: Vinyl: $13 Cassette Tape (purple tape): $13 CD: $7 this is a STEAL. you know I already ordered the vinyl record #TOP5RAPWEBSITE

Because blacks don't listen to good rap and they're the only demographic playing music on speakers in public
