Tesla's Roadster event: they delivered what was promised. A flying car. As a technology demonstration, it was an 11 out of 10. But as a stockholder, I have some concerns. My thoughts 🧵 1/14

So why even have men's and women's sports? Why not just make all sports unisex? I am not disagreeing. I think it is a great idea.

Before you hand them out can you vote yes on the merger! :)
Robert and I are thrilled that our gift of over 2 million shares of SpaceX stock will be distributed to children’s Trump accounts in December!   Our initial gift (shares transferring to escrow as we speak) will go to 11 to 17-year-olds who live in zip codes with median family income (MFI) of $57,000 or less, and to those who live in zip codes with too few residents for an MFI to be reported in the census. These families should receive a notice by Monday.    In a few weeks, an additional gift will be finalized for eligible 11 to 17-year-old children in military families serving overseas, children in foster care, and more children whose MFI is $90,000 or less living in counties near our home in the great state of Texas.   Thank you to the incredible team @SpaceX, @Treasury, @IRS, @DellFdn, @GreaterHorizons, @InvestAmerica24, and the legal firms of Morgan Lewis and Gibson Dunn for working over the past few months to make this happen.   We are deeply grateful for the groundbreaking work that Brad Gerstner @altcap and @MichaelDell have done for the long-term financial security for millions of kids.   God Bless America!

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

If Amazon and Google are zorching their balance sheets for what they believe is essential capex shouldn’t Nvidia and Micron be up big instead of down?

Amidst all the dark, demonic and perverted podcasts out there, watching Sophie Cunningham share with Theo Von about Jesus dying on the cross is a beautiful breath of fresh air! 🙌🏼✝️🔥

⚠️tesla makes u-turn on highway this is insane 🤯 here’s what happened: -route 2 in connecticut shut down at night -cops turning everyone around to exit the wrong way -driver: "there's no way it takes a u-turn on a highway" -fsd watches the cars ahead.. and does it anyway hands off. gps is lost. car still figures it out fsd is sentient and @TeslaSI did it again 🎥 @thezendasher on IG

FSD could literally free up OVER $1.5 trillion/yr... WHY isn't anyone talking about this?? If Lawmakers were serious about serving the people, they would start focusing on how to speed up FSD adoption. The Data: Fatal & serious crashes cost the U.S. almost $2 trillion per year in total societal harm; including ~$400 billion in direct economic costs in the form of: - medical bills - property damage - lost wages - enormous quality-of-life cost of lost years - permanent disability Tesla’s latest FSD data shows vehicles with FSD engaged are ~9× SAFER than the average driver. That means, if fully adopted, FSD could produce savings the size of any one of these: - ~6% of GDP - The entire Social Security program - Medicare AND Medicaid - Roughly 2× the defense budget At this scale, FSD (and technologies like it) could be one of the first real steps toward an age of AI "abundance" people talk about. 50 years from now, our children and grandchildren will look back in horror at the fact that we ever drove at all.

There has never been an excuse to drink and drive. With @Tesla expanding their Cybercab/Robotaxi services area across #Houston, there are more ways than ever to get home safely after a night out. Plan ahead, make the smart choice, and never get behind the wheel impaired. #DontDrinkAndDrive

Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
