This is the difference between turning the barrel and pushing the barrel. Watch Carpenter’s hands. He’s not using his arms to shove the barrel forward toward the ball. The hands turn the barrel rearward, the barrel gets working deep, and the body carries it through the zone. Hands turn. Body turns. Barrel goes. The less the arms have to manufacture the swing, the quicker and tighter the barrel can work. #Hitting #Baseball #MLB #HittingMechanics #BaseballTraining
