Block, the company behind Cash App, has introduced Dessa, a voice AI model trained entirely on human conversations.
It can listen and speak at the same time.
But what makes it different from other voice AI models?

Building voice AI apps could become more interesting.
Developers could create assistants that feel more like real conversations.
4/ But there's a problem.
If AI can sound just like a human, how will we know whether we're talking to a real person?
The better AI gets at sounding human, the more important trust and transparency become.
