Well, data from the James Webb Space Telescope has done it again!
The JWST has allowed scientists to peer deeper into space than ever before. And what they find continues to overturn evolutionary and deep-time expectations. It’s happened yet again. In other words, here is your weekly installment of “Everything we thought we knew about evolution/the history of the universe is wrong”!
According to popular science reports, “JWST has revealed that galaxies were spreading carbon, oxygen, and other heavy elements through space just 500 million years after the Big Bang. The surprising discovery suggests the young universe became chemically enriched much earlier than expected. . . .”
According to the big bang model of the universe,
“The earliest universe contained little besides hydrogen and helium, the two simplest elements at the top of the periodic table. As gravity gathered this material into dense clouds, stars began to form. Inside those stars, extreme heat and pressure enabled nuclear fusion and other reactions that created heavier elements such as carbon and oxygen.
“When stars reached the ends of their lives, including some that exploded as supernovae, they released those elements into space. That material later became part of new generations of stars and planets and eventually contributed to the chemistry needed for life. The carbon in the human body and the oxygen people breathe were both produced inside earlier generations of stars.”
Now, of course, this is nothing more than storytelling. No one has observed this supposed process of star formation. This is simply a model applied to the evidence. But it’s always had a big problem—where are these “pristine” early stars (called Population III stars) made only of hydrogen and helium? In this model, these Population III stars should exist, but they’ve never been observed. So where are they?
Well, this new study, which used JWST data to supposedly peer at “galaxies as they appeared more than 13 billion years ago”—that’s very close to the alleged big bang—claims that these stars are elusive because “early galaxies were already sending heavier elements such as carbon and oxygen into surrounding space much sooner than expected” and “if galaxies were already enriching nearby space only 500 million years after the Big Bang, truly pristine gas may have disappeared quickly. As a result, Population III stars may not have remained common for long enough to be easily observed.”
The article says,
“Remarkably, the chemical signatures surrounding these infant galaxies looked similar to those found around far more mature galaxies billions of years later. The finding suggests that even at cosmic dawn, galaxies were already manufacturing heavy elements and spreading them into their surroundings.”
But in reality, the finding does not suggest that “galaxies were already manufacturing heavy elements and spreading them” at cosmic dawn—the evidence is that galaxies look the same no matter how far away they are (remember, they are measuring distance, not time—the alleged time is also an interpretation based on assumptions). The idea that pressure in “early” stars created heavy elements and then supernovae spread those elements to be incorporated into newer stars and planets is an interpretation of the observational evidence. It’s storytelling!
And it’s storytelling that is constantly changing. It doesn’t matter what evidence arises, even when that evidence contradicts earlier expectations—the evolutionary models are so plastic, they just mold them to fit the new evidence.
There’s another explanation for why Population III stars have never been found and why the universe isn’t matching the expectations of those who start with the big bang: The big bang didn’t happen. The Bible gives us the true history of the universe, and it didn’t begin with a big bang and stars slowly forming. It began when God spoke and fashioned the earth, covered with water, and then He created light and darkness, and on day four of creation week, He created the stars fully functioning also.
The evidence from the JWST will continue to defy secular scientists’ predictions because they have the wrong worldview based on the wrong starting point. Instead of trusting the interpretations and storytelling of men and women who weren’t there, don’t know everything, and often make mistakes, we should believe the eyewitness account of history given to us by the God who was there, knows everything, and has never made a mistake.
“The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And the expanse is declaring the work of His hands” (Psalm 19:1).

Joe Rogan figured it might just be a conspiracy theory that AI companies were secretly buying millions of books, scanning them, and destroying the originals.
Then Jamie looked it up. It’s 100% real.
ROGAN: “Oh my god, it’s true.”
The deeper they dug, the more upset Rogan got.
Anthropic had an internal code name for the operation: “Project Panama.”
THE INTERNAL MEMO SAID:
“Project Panama is our effort to destructively scan all the books in the world.”
“We don’t want it to be known that we are working on this.”
ROGAN’S REACTION:
“Meaning they know that they’re doing something that will cause people to f***ing freak out and revolt.”
“The training data is other people’s work. It’s books. That’s what’s insane.”
“The idea that you could… burn all the books so that your company succeeds and other ones don’t is the problem we’re talking about.”
WHAT HAPPENED:
Anthropic needed a mountain of books to train its AI. So it bought millions of them. Workers cut the spines off, scanned every page, and threw the books out when they were done.
They wanted to keep this a secret, but then a group of authors sued in a case known as Bartz v. Anthropic. To Rogan’s dismay, the judge ruled the scanning was “fair use,” so Anthropic was allowed to do it.
Where the company got in trouble was the pirated stuff. On top of the books it bought, Anthropic had downloaded millions more from pirate sites for free, and the judge wouldn’t let that go.
That ended up costing them $1.5 billion, the biggest copyright settlement in U.S. history, or about $3,000 per pirated book.

People aren’t going to like this, but 2.5 BILLION abortions in 45 years... More deaths than war or cancer combined throughout all of human history. If you lose the basic value of life as a jenga piece of our culture, everything else falls apart. I know, it’s more convenient to ignore this one!

"Can a Christian vote Democrat?"
That’s the wrong question.
Better one: Can a Christian back a platform that celebrates abortion and redefines male and female, then call it loving his neighbor?
Scripture defines love. Not the party.

🇺🇸 The father who took down the Oregon school shooter tells his story for the first time
Kaylub Giamanco, a veteran with 2 daughters at Silver Rail Elementary, was driving past when a 16-year-old shot his way into the school last week.
He heard children pleading for their lives, then gunfire, and made his choice:
“I have to go in. People are going to die.”
He crawled in through a shot-out window and found a teacher wrestling the gunman inside the special needs classroom.
“He did not know that I was there.”
He stepped in and fired, ending an attack that had already killed 3 children and a teacher.
HERO. ❤️

Here is what most Americans have never been told: Between 2013 and 2025, 39% of the Fed’s interest-on-reserve payments, roughly $235 billion, went to foreign or majority-foreign-owned banks. About $10 billion went to Chinese banks alone.
It’s time to conduct a full audit of the Fed so we know where our money is spent.

When I was Muslim, I never noticed what the Quran DOESN'T have.
Namely, exact dates, exact places or exact titles or names you can check.
Bro, when you read the Quran’s stories there is literally zero chronology, almost no geography, kings called only “Pharaoh,” events floating in no particular year. It is incredibly vague.
You cannot get answers to questions like: Where did the story happen? When? Under whom? The text doesn’t say. You can’t check it, which conveniently means you can’t check it.
Now, contrast that to the Bible, read the opening of Luke 3:
“In the FIFTEENTH YEAR of the reign of TIBERIUS CAESAR — PONTIUS PILATE being governor of JUDEA, HEROD being tetrarch of GALILEE, his brother PHILIP tetrarch of ITUREA and TRACHONITIS, and LYSANIAS tetrarch of ABILENE, during the high priesthood of ANNAS and CAIAPHAS…”
SEVEN historical anchors in one sentence.
An emperor, a governor, three rulers with their exact territories, two high priests.
And people HAVE checked — for centuries, often trying to break it. Skeptics mocked Luke’s “Lysanias of Abilene” as an error…
UNTIL an inscription naming Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene turned up.
Pilate was called legend by some… until the Pilate Stone was dug up at Caesarea in 1961 with his name and title carved in it.
Luke 1:3-4 tells you why: “Having followed all things closely… that you may have CERTAINTY.”
Certainty. That’s the offer of the Bible.
The Quran floats above history where nothing can touch it.
The Bible planted its flag in checkable ground and said: dig.
I dug. It’s still standing.
Praise the Lord and His mighty God-Breathed scripture.

You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea: In it, God tells a prophet to marry a woman He KNOWS will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, and used up. Essentially, she is worthless to the world.
Then, God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK, to pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. (Hosea 3)
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Bro, why would any man do that!?
Then I realized I was exactly like the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters and I sold myself cheap. In a way, I made myself worthless.
But, God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.” Instead, He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
What's beautiful about this is, that’s the entire Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself WORTHY of God.
Hosea showed me an amazing, present God who pays to redeem the unworthy. The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord!

Beef's a little cheaper at the store, and Washington's calling it a win.
First 30 days of extra imports: ground beef down about 2%. What ranchers got paid for the cows that become ground beef: down 12 to 14%.
Ranchers sell those cows. That's not relief. It's a squeeze.

Things like this are why ₿itcoin exists.
The IRS sent armed agents into a family bakery and drained $68,382 from its bank account.
Their “crime”? Depositing their OWN CASH in amounts under $10,000.
Then the government demanded ANOTHER $160,000 and a guilty plea to a FELONY.
The IRS called it “structuring”: deliberately keeping deposits small to dodge bank reporting rules.
DAVID VOCATURA: “I said to them, ‘Maybe I should get a lawyer.’ And they said, ‘You don’t need one, step in the back.’”
“Until the day they came in, I had no idea what structuring was.”
“I’m a law-abiding citizen. I can’t remember the last time I got a speeding ticket.”
Nearly three years after seizing the money, a prosecutor came back with a deal that carried up to FOUR YEARS IN PRISON:
DAVID VOCATURA: “They wanted us to pay another additional $160,000 in fines and plead to a felony charge of structuring.”
They refused.
You bake bread for three generations.
You pay your taxes.
You put your own money in the bank.
And the IRS treats you like a criminal, demanding nearly a quarter million dollars.
CONTEXT: Fortunately, the IRS didn’t get away with this one. Hours after the Institute for Justice sued, the IRS agreed to return all $68,382.22. Two weeks later, it withdrew a grand jury subpoena demanding eight years of the bakery’s business records. Crazy that they tried to ruin a business over depositing money into their own bank account.

Christian moms, why are you posting photos of your daughters in short, tight, revealing homecoming dresses? What is going on?
If the point of an outfit is to draw attention to anything other than the face or overall beauty of a woman’s presence, then it’s not an outfit a Christian woman should wear—whether she’s a teenager or an adult.
Our role as Christian moms is to help our girls understand her dignity, embrace biblical loveliness, and recognize that just because her friends are wearing it doesn’t mean she has to.
