I suspect it might have to do with Standard Fields not having top level Ids. (In other words no record in Oracle). See in screenshots, the custom one has the Id in the URL. The dependency API is probably powered by a relational SQL query!

#SalesforceCPQ one of the many super-long formula fields that come with CPQ. Takes hours to fully understand what these actually evaluate to! 😅
