Finished a Mahomes portrait a few weeks ago for my cousin as payment for a Jerry Rice autographed 5x7. He then gives me a Warren Moon autographed 5x7 and a few other autographed cards. Not a bad payday 😁

I had a great lunch with some of the Microsoft team today and they all shared one piece of advice that I'll need to emphasize more. Find ways to get around recruiters and HR. The best way to land a job? Find someone on the inside. Best place to do so? Conferences.

Just a random piece of advice that has helped me out tremendously: "You (or anyone else) will NEVER know everything that there is to know about web development". There will always be someone who knows more than you as well as someone who knows less than you. No matter how (cont)
much you learn you'll always find something else to learn about. It took me a year or so to accept this but once I did, the stress levels that come with learning to code almost completely disappeared, which leads to more fruitful learning sessions
