I have a good friend who is looking for his next gig. He’s looking for a senior frontend role somewhere. If you are hiring for such a role or have a lead in that area I’d love to connect y’all. Thanks a bunch in advance!!

What's crazy to me is how the industry normalized complexity in software development.

ChatGPT tip: Don't use ChatGPT to write production code. Instead use it to save all that time you spend e.g. reading library docs to figure out how to integrate the library into your app. That's *much* higher-leverage. codewithjason.com/chatgpt-st…

I strongly identify as a Product Engineer. Not as: - Developer (I only like building user-facing things) - Full stack (I want to help with shaping, roll-out, strategy) - Entrepreneur (not interested in company building) - Indie hacker (like working with team, not into quick and dirty stuff) - Design/Dev unicorn (my design taste > my skill) I really like going from a customer problem into "potential solution mode" and then taking it all the way to code on production. I'm having trouble finding (...and hiring) people like me. Who should I be talking to?
