Last week @SeiNetwork completed its biggest migration since 2024.
~712 million EVM keys moved from MemIAVL to FlatKV without affecting chain performance.
Today Sei nodes run on >30GB less memory, and snapshot rewrite time has decreased from 4 to 9 hours to ~10 minutes.

Incredibly proud of the @Sei_Labs engineering team for pulling this off.
Last week the team successfully executed the biggest migration on Sei in years, with perfect chain performance throughout.
There is no team I would rather have building Sei Giga.

Just finished the biggest migration on Sei since 2024.
Performance improvement is nothing short of incredible.
Sei's EVM store now lives on FlatKV, about 70% of the chains total keys. Remaining 30% will ship in future migrations.
Giga is coming.
I found a critical safety issue in one major new consensus protocol in the blockchain sector.
The protocol had been formally verified, HOWEVER the formally verified protocol is not the same as the pseudocode.
This appears to be the same scenario that OpenAI has run into with Navier-Stokes.
If this had gotten into production it could have triggered a catastrophic failure, since only a small portion of stake could have broken safety.
The protocol in question is Fast Tendermint. It lets a single Byzantine validator (out of 5f+1) make honest validators decide different values. With 2 validators, equivocation is not even required.
Paper with two fixes and proofs: github.com/ranchalp/fast-ten…
Disclaimer: The authors also specified they consider the formally verified protocol the source of truth.

SIP-5 is Sei's post-quantum migration plan.
If any quantum computing or AI related cryptographic attack becomes possible, SIP-5 will be implemented to protect the chain.
Sei is prepared for quantum.

Privacy on Sei is coming through Sedna — a private transaction layer built for trading.
With Sedna transactions on Sei will stay private until finality, preventing frontrunning, backrunning, and sandwich attacks.
Privacy built for a better trading experience at every size.

Dinari is bringing real stocks to @SeiNetwork.
Tokenization supercycle.
Tokenised stocks are coming to Sei Network...
@SeiNetwork has just announced a collaboration with @DinariGlobal which will see its more than 700 tokenised stocks go live on $SEI's scalable blockchain rails.
Dinari's 'dShares' will be tradable via self-custody wallets using @Circle's $USDC stablecoin.

Honestly I always thought the CLARITY Act kind of sucked. This is much better
*SEC STAFF ISSUES FAQS ON CRYPTO ASSET SECURITIES LAWS APPLICATION
*SEC STAFF: TOKEN BUYBACKS ON FUNCTIONAL PROTOCOLS DO NOT CONSTITUTE MANAGERIAL EFFORTS
*SEC STAFF: LIQUID STAKING TOKENS ARE DIGITAL COMMODITIES OR TOOLS, NOT SECURITIES
*SEC STAFF: MAINTENANCE, ENHANCEMENTS, SYSTEM GRANTS NOT CONSIDERED ESSENTIAL MANAGERIAL EFFORTS

How do financial institutions actually decide which blockchain to build on?
Mastercard and the Sei Development Foundation interviewed 40+ leaders across payments, compliance, and blockchain infrastructure to find out.
This is what institutions actually prioritize.
The best thing about Hermes is not its good case latency (which matches the lower bound of other protocols), but how stable it is under attacks, disruptions, or crashes 🧵

So much of what @Sei_Labs is working on is not public, and it won't be public for months, if not years.
All I can say is:
1. Sei Labs has more momentum than ever
2. The future is looking bright
