HAPPY NEW MONTH! 🚀
September, we move! 🙏🏽
I’ve been quietly working on my first project since I started my frontend journey, and I’m really excited to finally put it out there this month. 👀🔥
It’s been a journey of learning, building, breaking things, fixing them, and learning again.
When it drops, I’d genuinely love your reviews, feedback, and honest criticism. 🫶🏽
First project. First big step.
Watch out, guys. 👀💻
Let’s see what we’ve been cooking. 🚀

A lot of your idolos won’t tell you this but I will.
Let’s break into Graohics design,
A thread 🧵
You need to bookmark this.
Firstly, what is Graphics design?
Graphic design is the art of using visuals to communicate a message.
Every logo, flyer, billboard, website, product packaging, or social media post you see was intentionally designed to inform, persuade, or attract attention.
Simply put, graphic design is visual communication.
Then let’s move to it importance,
It’s important because people judge what they see before they read what you write.
Good design:
• Builds trust
• Captures attention
• Makes information easier to understand
• Helps businesses and creators stand out
Design isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about making them work.
You’ll find graphic design everywhere.
The app you’re using right now.
Your favorite brand’s logo.
Movie posters.
Restaurant menus.
Product packaging.
Instagram posts.
Websites.
Once you understand design, you’ll start noticing it in almost everything around you.
That’s it for Day 1.
Later, we’ll talk about the basic principles every beginner should know before creating their first design.
If you’re also learning graphic design or simply curious about it, follow along and turn on notifications so you don’t miss the next lesson.
Let’s connect together, one lesson at a time.

Good morning, X.
A consistency code for today:
Small actions repeated over time will always beat big plans that are never executed.
Keep going.
The results are usually hiding behind the repetition.
Currently working on a project, will share an update soon.

I didn’t become visible because I was the smartest Virtual Assistant on X.
I became visible because I refused to disappear.
When I started creating content, nobody knew my name.
Nobody was waiting for my posts.
Nobody was recommending me.
I wasn’t getting discovery calls.
I wasn’t attracting clients.
I simply had a decision to make:
Show up consistently or stay invisible.
So I kept posting.
Even on days when only a few people saw my content.
Even when engagement was low.
Even when I questioned whether anyone cared.
I documented what I was learning.
I shared my wins.
I shared my failures.
I talked about interviews that didn’t go as planned.
I talked about the lessons I was learning as a Virtual Assistant.
Slowly, something changed.
People started recognizing my name.
Then they started trusting my voice.
Then they started recommending me.
Then came the discovery calls.
Then came the clients.
Then came the opportunities I used to pray for.
Looking back, I didn’t need to go viral.
I just needed to be consistent long enough for the right people to find me.
That’s why I say this all the time:
Visibility rewards consistency.
Not overnight.
But eventually.
And if there’s one thing I hope you take away from my journey, it’s this:
Don’t quit before people have the chance to discover you.
Our e-book, VISIBLE ENOUGH TO BE HIRED, is for every Virtual Assistant or freelancer who’s tired of being overlooked despite having the skills.
Inside, I’ll show you the mindset shifts, content strategies, and visibility framework that helped me build credibility, attract opportunities, and land clients.

There was a time I believed that if I just became really good at what I did, clients would somehow find me.
So I did what everyone says.
Learn the skill.
Take the courses.
Build the portfolio.
Apply for jobs.
I thought that was enough.
Then, I joined X.
I just started talking.
I shared what I was learning as a Virtual Assistant.
The interviews I was preparing for.
The rejections that stung.
The small wins that kept me going.
The mistakes I made and the lessons I picked up along the way.
Nothing strategic.
I was simply documenting my journey.
Looking back now, I don’t think I realized what I was building.
People were watching.
Not silently judging me like I feared.
They were paying attention.
Over time, I stopped introducing myself to opportunities because my content had already done it for me.
Every client I’ve worked with came from X.
Every discovery call.
Every referral.
Every “I came across your posts and thought of you.”
Every single one.
That’s why, if you asked me today to choose one platform to build on, I’d pick X every single time.
Not because it’s perfect.
But because it became the foundation of my career.
The funny thing is, I don’t even do a lot of outbound outreach anymore.
Most of my opportunities come inbound.
People reach out because they’ve spent weeks, or sometimes months, watching me show up consistently.
They’ve seen how I think.
They’ve seen how I work.
They’ve seen me grow in public.
By the time they send that DM, they’re not trying to figure out if I’m capable.
They’re already convinced.
That’s what visibility really does.
It builds trust before the conversation even starts.
And that’s a lesson I wish someone had taught me much earlier.
So when people ask me how I started landing clients on X, my answer is never, “I got lucky.”
I became visible.
Intentionally.
Consistently.
And I stayed long enough for people to remember my name.
That’s exactly why I decided to write this e-book.
To share everything that worked for me.
I’m sharing the mindset, the content strategy, and the small things I did that turned one platform into the biggest source of opportunities in my career.
If you’ve been wondering how people are landing clients on X while your posts barely get noticed, this e-book is for you.
Pre-orders will be opening soon, and I genuinely can’t wait to share it with you. ❤️

Imagine this.
It’s 8:47 PM.
Ugo @icparklins is driving home after a long day.
His mind is loud.
He remembers, he promised to follow up with an investor.
He needs to approve a product update.
Marketing is waiting for feedback.
Someone needs an introduction to a potential partner.
Customer support flagged an issue this morning.
He’s forgotten what it was.
There are three ideas sitting in his Notes app.
Another ten in WhatsApp.
A few more buried in voice notes.
He tells himself,
“I’ll sort everything out tomorrow.”
Tomorrow comes.
New fires replace yesterday’s fires.
Nothing moves.
The co-founder @icparklins isn’t lazy.
Because this is what building a startup looks like.
Now imagine Renike joins the team, as someone who is working with a startup and knows the ups and downs of building a startup from the ground up.
Ugo sends one messy brain dump.
Twenty random thoughts.
No structure.
No order.
No priorities.
Two days later…
There’s a dashboard.
Projects have owners.
Follow-ups have already gone out.
Deadlines are clear.
The investor meeting is scheduled.
The product team knows what’s next.
The partnership conversation is moving.
The only message Ugo gets is:
“Here are the three decisions I need from you today.”
That’s the difference.
The value of an Executive Assistant isn’t in managing calendars.
It’s in protecting a founder’s attention.
Because founders don’t need someone to remember tasks.
They need someone who turns chaos into momentum.
The best operators don’t just save time.
They create space for founders to build.
I’d love to work with you @icparklins
Replying to @fwYUSUFF
Ideally, you've worked closely with a startup founder before, understand the pace, ambiguity and chaos that comes with building something from the ground up, and have the entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to build something of your own one day.

I’m starting a new series for beginners by a beginner.
As I learn graphics design and web development, I’ll be sharing everything I learn in the simplest way possible, hoping it helps someone else starting from scratch too.
If you’re learning too, let’s grow together.
