My spy-implanted ledger came from Malaysia, and had flawless shrink wrap. Even opening it, at first you don't see the implant which is cleverly hidden where the screen's padding is supposed to be.

Eight people. A student, a legislator, a professor, a doctor, an artist, and pastors. All imprisoned by the Chinese Communist Party for peaceful acts. As Xi Jinping visits Washington, D.C., this week, we call on him to release them all, now.
This video brings together the friends and loved ones of these eight prisoners of conscience, demanding the release of the people with whom they desperately want to reunite.
Joshua Wong, arrested and detained multiple times over more than a decade for his peaceful activism and for advocating for democratic reform — awaiting sentence after a Sept. 2 guilty plea on a national security charge that carries a maximum of life imprisonment. Owen Chow, a student activist turned legislator, was sentenced to 7 years and 9 months in the HK47 trial. Dr. Gulshan Abbas, a retired physician sentenced to 20 years in a secret trial, forcibly disappeared days after her sister spoke out in Washington. Ilham Tohti, a professor serving a life term for building understanding between Uyghurs and Han. Gao Zhen, an artist sentenced in August 2026 to three years for sculptures made a decade before the law they were charged under took effect. Pastors Wang Lin, Gao Yingjia, and Gao Quanfu, imprisoned for leading their congregations peacefully and faithfully.
These eight represent thousands of innocent people imprisoned for exercising basic rights. Their families will not be silent. The world must not be silent. Free them now. #ReleaseThem

Today, I was working on an overnight project! I had to build a @goose_oss gateway because I needed to have the GDK available in the browser, and unfortunately, due to the Rust Async limitation, Tokio does not compile in WASM, so I built just a gateway.
Then I realised that most of my other side projects need one, so I open-sourced it github.com/vincenzopalazzo/g…
Enjoy!

Sad to see nix-bitcoin winding down after 8 years of work. Huge thanks to everyone who built and maintained it, and we’re very grateful that Vinteum was included among the recipients of the remaining security fund.
Hopefully someone from the community will step up, fork it, and keep the project alive. We understand why simply handing maintenance over to someone who hasn’t previously contributed to the repository wouldn’t be the right path. Building that trust and familiarity takes time.
We hope Vinteum can help that process in some way. ❤️
As part of winding down nix-bitcoin, we're closing the nix-bitcoin security fund.
Per the fund's terms, the remaining 0.19 BTC goes in equal parts to non-profits:

"Allah has permitted trade and forbidden riba." (Al-Baqarah 2:275)
Most Muslims already agree riba is harmful. Far fewer have a practical answer to where to save, how to be paid, and how to give without it.
That's the conversation in London on 10–11 October: not just critique, but building alternatives, from sound money to sovereign technology.
