I keep thinking how much more effective this ad would have been to have had kids showered with tech and toys that bored them but then Gran shows them nostalgic festive basics. They cook together, make paper chains, and learn the true meaning of Christmas.

Grandma digs some simple toys out of the attic. The ungrateful kids sulk. When they open their Christmas cards, they shake them looking for money and look disappointed when there isn’t any.
They only cheer up when Grandma leads them into a room she’s spent a fortune turning into a full grotto.
