Tonight’s ruling by the Supreme Court stops the Postal Service’s last minute and unfair attempts to restrict mail-in ballots in order to disenfranchise voters and help the Republican Party.
It is sad to see the Court divided on such an easy case. Yet, not surprisingly it is the same two members whose ethics have been repeatedly questioned.
This entire episode was caused by an Administration illegally gaming the system to rig an election in their favor. This is just another attempt from an Administration that refuses to accept the will of the voters (aka J6), respect institutional norms, and has no idea what the word ‘no’ means.
The only way to prevent these unconstitutional abuses and the corruption of the Administration, is for voters to resoundingly make their voices heard this November. Unfortunately, Trump and his minions have made it clear this election has to be decided by a margin that cannot be rigged.
