Here's my conversation with Pieter Levels (@levelsio), self-taught developer and entrepreneur who designed, programmed, shipped, and ran over 40 startups, many of which are hugely successful. In most cases, he did it all by himself, while living the digital nomad life in over 40 countries and over 150 cities. This was a fun and inspiring conversation! It's here on X in full, and is up on YouTube, Spotify, and everywhere else. Links in comment. This was a cool listen. I think Cloud+AI is increasingly making the @levelsio -style model of a scrappy solo serial micro-entrepreneur viable, allowing one person to spin up and run a number of companies that generate income, possibly well into billion-dollar valuations.

If I can make useful software (been trying for a few months since resigning) and thereby, enough money, I'll make a luxury train service, so people can travel and work like this.

Starbucks coffee beans are $10 - $15/lb in stores. We consistently get ours for $3 - $6/lb. Our trick is buying them in bulk on eBay (or Bonanza) just a liiiiittle past their “best by” date. Yes, we buy EXPIRED coffee beans. 😱 #coffee #starbucks #ebay tripofalifestyle.com/money/s…

Respond to this tweet with a business idea. I will tell you what i like about the idea, what worries me, and if I'd take an investor meeting. I can tell in 280 characters whether an idea is good or bad and why. Hopefully you find it helpful. Shoutout @immad for the inspo.

As many have noted for years now, but very good to see it corroborated at Booth. When that happens it's typically @AtifRMian who's doing it. Bravissimo.
The top 1 percent’s savings buried the middle class in debt There's a close connection between rising income inequality and "financialization" / dependence on credit When rich try to save more, but investment doesn't rise: debt must! 👇🏽👇🏽 review.chicagobooth.edu/econ…
