#fsharp #Python #csharp #Dotnet Accouncement: I'm working on a ebook about Polyglot Programming (F#, Python, C# too) in Polyglot notebooks. There will be a lot about F# and Python basics, but mostly how to mix they powers and ecosystems in an explorative context. Everyone who will buy me a coffee(s) in June will get a weekly updated draft of it. buymeacoffee.com/florencedev

#fsharp and Python I need to use various Python libs to gather data on which I can later run my F# vital-functions. Pyrosm is a Python library for reading OpenStreetMap from Protocolbuffer Binary Format -files (*.osm.pbf) into Geopandas GeoDataFrames. This is how I do it to get tram lines for any supported city. As you can see there are only F# cells :)

Still looking for mine ...

this is pretty cool for all #csharp developers! devblogs.microsoft.com/visua… Do you think Polyglot notebook should be included or is it a different thing to stay on its own?

#fsharp #PolyglotNotebooks ".NET for cities" Geospatial indexing, like h3, is useful when we don't have proper statistical city split or just want to use equal areas for analyses. On the left London with H3 indexing, on the right example borough with statistical areas. Ranked for the closest artwork. With Florence library the code is almost identical
