Elon Musk spent almost half a billion dollars on the Texas election and still lost.
He could have ended child hunger in America with that money.
What an asshole.

Well done, Mark Carney.
No country is going to grant them access to play.
Which is the way it should be when your country is attempting to invade and erase a country from the map.

If taxpayers are paying for the audit, taxpayers should be allowed to read the results.
The Ford government allowed hundreds of millions of public dollars to flow unchecked for years. Now, they’re refusing to release the findings of the very audit the public has paid for.

The Trump administration is auctioning off leases for deep-sea mining over a vast area of the Pacific on November 19—over 31 million acres.
It's not only about destroying fragile life on the seabed. Research published in Nature Communications shows how mining waste can disrupt zooplankton food supplies, threatening marine life throughout the food web—from microscopic organisms to great whales.
Selling off huge tracts of ocean for exploitation with a serious risk of untold damage and cascading effects lasting decades or longer is reckless, ignorant and must be opposed.

💅 Trump holds a beauty contest among members of his own administration
In an interview with the Pod Force One podcast, the US president started rating the looks of his closest allies.
“Pete Hegseth is a good-looking guy. I think they’re all great-looking, in their own way. Marco Rubio is a great, hot politician. JD, the same thing. Scott Bessent is central casting,” Trump said.

I found out my dog walker had been tying my dog outside a grocery store while she ran errands.
She was charging me $25 for a forty-minute walk.
My dog, Archie, is a seven-year-old shaggy brown terrier mix. I hired a woman named Melissa to walk him three afternoons a week while I'm at work.
She'd been doing it for almost four months.
Every afternoon, she'd send me a picture of Archie outside with a message saying he'd had a great walk.
Last Wednesday, a woman from my neighborhood sent me a photo.
Archie was tied to a bicycle rack outside a grocery store.
He was sitting beside a shopping cart, looking toward the entrance.
The woman recognized him from walks around the neighborhood.
She said he'd been there when she arrived and was still there when she came out twenty minutes later.
I called Melissa.
She answered from her car.
I asked where Archie was.
"Oh, we're just finishing his walk."
I told her someone had photographed him tied outside the grocery store.
She went quiet.
Then she said she'd only stopped to pick up a few things.
"Five minutes, tops."
I told her he'd been there for at least twenty.
She sighed.
"He's a dog. He doesn't know the difference."
I asked whether she'd been leaving him outside stores regularly.
She said, "Not every time."
That wasn't the answer I wanted.
